The past July 28th, the FHDA invited two people from N.Korea with severe disabilities to the Jishuitan hospital in China for two months to receive surgical treatments. All of the treatment procedures were very successful.

The patients were a 31 year old male patient, and a 30 year old female patient. The male patient lost functionality to both of his legs, about 20 years ago, in an accident, and was suffering from extreme chronic pain. At the Jishuitan hospital, he received transplantation of artificial hip joints in both sides of his hips. The surgical procedures were completely successful, and he was able to return back home on his own two feet, without any help from a wheelchair or a walking stick.

The female patient had permanently lost functionality to both of her legs, from postoperative complications, after being treated for a congenital spinal problem. This caused her legs to start decaying. Due to the decay, she lost one of her ankles 3 years ago, and a year later, she lost her other ankle. She had suffered from chronic pain for many years, and the surgical scars from amputating the decayed parts never healed. At the Jishuitan Hospital, she was able to receive proper surgical procedures, and she was able to return home, free from chronic pain, and with the scars completely healed.

Through being relieved of their chronic pains, and freedom from continual decay, for the female patient, and being able to walk again, for the male patient, these two patients have received new lives that will be very different than the ones they had before. Please pray for them and bless them as they face the rest of their lives ahead of them.

I would like to thank you, our supporters, in the US, Korea, and China, for your contributions and prayers for this work.

The FHDA will not stop in sharing the love of Christ to the nations, through continuing this work.

Thank you.
